    Role Purpose: This Role will be responsible to develop and execute sales and business development strategies of the Pastry and Bakery Division of the UAE Hotels, Cafes and bakeries market within the strategic context, vision and goals of the Organization. The role will be responsible to prepare and implement the Sales Plan with a focus on revenue growth, market and business development whislt maintaining profitable margins. The customer base will include all food service channels such as Hotels, Fine Dining restaurants, bakeries (stand alone and Retail in-house based), Airport catering DXB and ADH, coffee shops etc Must have in-depth knowledge and proven Sales experience in selling of High End Quality Pastry and Bakery ingredients including ingredient mixes, tartelettes, cake decorations and fillings. Sales • Directly involved in Selling and business development activities of all Division brands, products and categories to businesses; • Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and dedicated sales territory assignment to Sales team; • Develop a daily/weekly Customer call list for team and maintain information accuracy; • Review monthly sales reports, Margin reports with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met. • Develop new markets and accounts by utilizing current relationship and building new relationships in the food service channel. Special focus required on the development business of 5-star hotels, high end coffee shops, cafés and bakeries; • Closely monitor and follow up on Market openings of new hotels & properties; proactively initiate the contact process with related Personnel along with the Sales team; Business Development • Responsible to develop new segments/markets/ products to create new business with a competitive pricing strategy to cover the needs of UAE market and achieve efficiency with the existing product portfolio; • Focus on market trends and competitor analysis; responsible to generate, evaluate and execute ideas for product improvement and development; Creating annual plans for all channels, markets and respective brands; • Presents products and other related information to customers to gain sales and establish accounts by displaying and/or demonstrating product(s). This can be done by using samples or catalogs and emphasizing salable features and confers with clients to provide marketing advice technical advice and customer service concerning product(s) or services provided; • Directly involved in Quotes, prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts plans, and prepares sales presentations and promotional events and/or materials. • Serves as primary contact with all key customers and represents the company at local trade shows & International trade events in line with company agreed policy. People Management • Analyze territory and monitoring performance results of each sales person; Daily call reports and weekly work plans. Product Sourcing • Identify, manage and develop the supplier base in accordance to the market and client requirement and specification ensuring products are available at all times; • Identify new products and suppliers to strengthen the product portfolio of the Division; • Create and maintain a strong and ethical business relationship with suppliers; Work closely with Principals/ Suppliers to ensure demand is met and the desired results are achieved; • Communicate trends/pricing issues with Management, Principals, Sales team and with customers and other unique issues as related to Stocks, Sales and availability Forecasting and Stock Monitoring • Ensuring product forecast measures/projections are in place to maintain the required stocks and to avoid any out-of-stock and expired products situation; monitor import costs of products to ensure healthy cost to sell ratio is maintained; • Create cost/pricing models for new developing contract opportunities; ensure products are purchased at the optimum price from source which meets markets requirement and in-line with Company costs framework; • Establish future oriented and sustainable supplier network including securing alternative procurement sources; • Review monthly Inventory, keep a close eye of the expiry dates of all the products, special attention to be given to Chilled meat due to its shorter shelf life; Collections/ Receivables • Control and manage the risks related to non-payment, late payment, account opening while maintaining healthy customer relationships; • Assist sales team in retrieving delayed receivables from the market.
